1966: First successful prototype
trial on a human patient.
First prototype experiments on animals, in order to refine the project of developing a ventilator suitable for human use. In 1966, the first prototype trial is successfully conducted on a human patient, at the Surgery Service of the Department of Phthisiology and Thoracic Diseases of the National University of Córdoba (Universidad Nacional de Córdoba).
1967: Neumovent D-III, pressure cycling.
Manufacturing of the Neumovent D-III model in small series begins, followed by the D-IV, both devices with pressure cycling technology.
1970: Neumovent D-VI, volumetric type.
Neumovent D-VI is developed, and manufactured until 1977, with the characteristic of being volumetric type, which is considered a major advancement for the time.
Progress continued and, in subsequent years, models 877, 910, 980 and 900 are developed, all with volume cycling, and accompanied by supplementary devices, such as carbon dioxide absorbers for anesthesia, and air-oxygen mixers.
1997: Graph generation ventilators,
controlled by means of a microprocessor.
After ten years of tireless investigation, the major leap was taken, and respirators that had been volumetric in type thus far, start to be manufactured with microprocessors. That is how, in 1997, the Graph generation of ventilators is born, controlled by means of a microprocessor, and which has been evolving ever since.
2003: Quality Management System with ISO 13485 certification.
The devices are developed based on our own internal research and technology. Since 2003, TECME has a Quality Management System in place for medical devices certified by ISO 13485. On the other hand, GraphNet Advance, Neo and TS ventilators have received the CE Mark of the European Union and the FDA.
2008: First GraphNet model.
The first GraphNet model is developed, and its technology lays the foundation for our current devices.
2011: GraphNet Advance, Neo, and TS.
The new GraphNet Advance, Neo, and TS ventilators line is launched, with touch technology.
